Loralee's Piano School

Now offering beginning piano lessons for ages 4-18

About

My goal is to give your child the most comprehensive music education available.  Students will be exposed to a whole range of music, technology, styles and creative endeavors.  All lessons are created to suit the individual goals, desires, and loves of each student and I incorporate games and “play” to make the process fun and memorable!  I encourage my students to be curious and creative, learn music they would like to learn, and become lifelong musicians. Lessons will include improvisation, composition, and the basics of music theory even from a beginner level.  The piano will generally be the main instrument of these lessons but it will be by no means the only method I will be using with you or your child to understand, participate in, and love the art of music.

If you are interested in joining my school and would like more information, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.  I offer free consultation meetings before starting our lessons.

Online lessons are now available!  Current prices apply.

Current students and parents may sign in to my portal by using the login box on the current students subpage.

Why Choose My School?

Because of my travels and background I have a unique and varied perspective on music which I love to share with my students.  I want them to be excited about music of all styles!  When your student joins my school, they are joining a community of 30 or more local students who love music like they do!  The workshops I conduct provide that social connection which is so important to a lifetime of loving music.

I Love Military Kids!

I am a military veteran, a veteran spouse, and a military “brat”  so I have the first hand experience of the challenges of military life.  Living near a military base, I love teaching our military children (and of course local children too) and hope to make their transition between piano teachers as seamless as possible.
